About Chalet Amelíe

Tucked away off the main road through the pretty village of Thyon-Les Collons, 1800 is this picture-perfect detached and spacious luxury chalet of traditional Swiss style, yet only a few years old and has been stylishly presented inside with plenty of alpine charm. Personal touches have been added to make this a home from home, where you can relax, unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

A driveway leads down to the property from the road with parking for 1-2 cars and the front door leading into the hallway with boot-room and cloakroom with WC and sink.

Opening onto the spacious living area with a dining table seating 10-12 people, sofas that look onto the breath-taking panoramic south facing views of the mountains including the world famous Matterhorn, a log burning fire and fully kitted stylish contemporary kitchen with breakfast bar. Several sets of patio doors open onto the wrap around patio and sun terrace for alfresco dining in the summer months with a BBQ, outdoor dining and sun loungers. There are windows on every side of the building making this a bright and light property even on the less sunny days.

A wooden open tread staircase leads up to the mezzanine chill-out area with doors opening onto a balcony and through to a large double bedroom with fitted wardrobes, ensuite bathroom with bath and separate shower cubicle; with patio doors opening onto the balcony where you can watch the sun rise with your morning cup of tea.

Leading down from the living area of the ground floor is a sauna where you can unwind after a day on the slopes and relax those tired muscles, one double bedroom with walk in wardrobe, patio doors opening onto the rear garden, and an ensuite with both bath and shower cubicle. A double bedroom with twin beds, wardrobe and ensuite shower room with patio doors opening onto the rear garden, and a further double/twin bedroom with wardrobe and ensuite shower room again with patio doors showing off the staggering views across the valley.

Also on the lower ground floor is the service room with a washing machine and tumble drier.
