Once you have placed a provisional booking with us, we will send across the Reservation Agreement which will need to be filled in and returned to us by email.
Making PaymentA booking is only confirmed once we have received your signed Reservation Agreement and a non-refundable booking deposit of 20% of hire has been received into our designated Swiss account in Swiss Francs, at which point your confirmation email will be sent.
The balance of the rental must then be paid at least 4 weeks before your holiday commences.
Should booking occur within 4 weeks of the holiday, the full rental charges will be payable immediately upon booking, and upon receipt the confirmation email will be sent.
Payment of the rental charges is payable in Swiss Francs to the designated account.
Cancellation ChargesShould you be forced to cancel your booking prior to 6 weeks before your holiday commences, you will lose the non-refundable booking deposit.
Should cancellation occur within 6 weeks of the date that hire is due to commence, you will lose the full amount of the holiday cost excluding cleaning, linen and tourist tax.
Your Security DepositA security deposit of 500 Swiss Francs is payable to the Chalet Host upon arrival. This deposit is fully refundable within 14 days of your departure, provided you vacated the chalet in the agreed timeframe and the Chalet was left in same condition as to how you found it upon arrival.
TimingCheck in will be no earlier than 3 pm and no later than 7 pm. Our agent on site, will contact you 24 hours before to make arrangements for handover. If you are delayed for any reason, please give adequate notice.
You must have vacated by 10 am on the final day.
If you have not vacated by the due time, you would forfeit your security deposit.
It is vital to be fully aware of the contents of this page, which in tandem with the terms set out on the Reservation Agreement constitute the terms and conditions of rental. Breach of any of these terms, depending on the nature of the breach, may give rise to the loss of your security deposit.
Smoking In The ChaletSmoking of any kind is not permitted inside the Chalet and if you smoke outside, please ensure that the doors and windows are closed. There will be a deduction from your security deposit should there be evidence of smoking having taken place. Taking Pets
Should you wish to bring a pet or pets along, notify us at the time of enquiry. We reserve the right to refuse to allow your pet or pets at our own discretion and without explanation.
Should your pet cause damage to the property or any furnishings, the cost of rectification will be deducted from your security deposit in the first instance.
The pet is not permitted to be on any of the furniture
The pet must not cause a nuisance to neighbours or residents
Ensure you are aware of the Swiss rules and regulations regarding dogs prior to your visit to the Valais Region/Vex Canton.
You acknowledge that we continue to hold title to the Chalet and that you act as occupier only. You acknowledge that no part of this agreement provides you with a right of any kind to pledge our credit or cooperation in connection with the chalet, and you agree not to do so.
Release & IndemnitySubject to our obligation to deliver the Chalet to you for rental, you release us, our employees, servants and/or agents, from any liability to you (regardless of who is at fault) for any loss or damage incurred by you or a third party by reason of your use.
This AgreementAny alterations and/or amendments to this agreement must be made in writing and must be signed by the parties.
This agreement will in all instances be governed by English law, and this agreement, including the terms and conditions, constitutes the entire agreement between the parties. No additional oral undertakings, warranties or agreements between the parties relating to the subject matter of this agreement can supersede the terms of this agreement without the prior consent of the parties.
We reserve the right to add or amend any charges referred to in this agreement without prior notice to you.
'You/Your/Yours'
Refers to the renter recorded on the Reservation Agreement, and any additional guests also recorded on the agreement.
'We/Our/Us
Refers to Hayden and Lucie Allan and our agents and appointed contractors.
'The Parties'
Refers to the guest renting the chalet as recorded on this agreement, any additional guests also recorded on this agreement and Lucie & Hayden Allan and their agents.
'Agreement'
Refers to the entirety of the Reservation Agreement, to include the page with details of the renter, any charges, and every part and page of these terms and conditions, all of which constitute the entire agreement between the parties.
'Rental'
Refers to the provision to you by us in accordance with the terms of this agreement.
'Chalet'
Refers to the the property provided to you by us in accordance with the terms of this agreement.
'Charges'
Refers to any and all charges levied at you by us in respect of the hire of the chalet in accordance with the terms of this agreement : mandatory, elective and/or refundable ; to include deposits, daily rates, additional extras and penalty charges.
'Accessories'
Refers to any supplemental and/or additional item provided by us to you as part of the rental of the chalet according to the terms of this agreement, that nonetheless does not form part of the chalet itself.
'Damage'
Refers to any loss or defect that arises whilst you are staying in the chalet, whether cosmetic or electrical, that causes the chalet to no longer be in the same condition as it was when it was made available to you.
